  Swansea for Europe's discussion of European Movement UK's One Earth One Team campaign with Wales for Europe's President - Anthony Slaughter.

  To kick off this year, we are delighted to announce our first event in 2026, hosted by Swansea for Europe branch, with our President of Wales for Europe - Anthony Slaughter.

  This event will be themed on the European Movement’s environmental campaign - One Earth One Team, focusing on rebuilding closer cooperation and realignment with the European Union’s environmental, climate and health protections. There will be a presentation, followed by a Q&A session.

  Anthony Slaughter is leader of the Wales Green Party, and a keen advocate for protecting the environment.

• Screening of Flags in the Wind

  

  Cardiff for Europe are pleased to present a screening of Flags in the Wind, by European Movement UK!

  Flags in the Wind is a powerful short film by European Movement UK.

  Filmed in the the city of Lviv, Ukraine's humanitarian hub, Flags in the Wind highlights the resilience and determination of people fleeing the devastation of war, drawing parallels with Britain's own wartime past.

  Released on the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, it reminds us never to take Europe's peace for granted, amplifying the voices of those still fighting tyranny today.

  To mark 4 years since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Cardiff for Europe are proud to be hosting this film screening for members and supporters to experience, sponsored by our Wales-wide organisation, Wales for Europe. This event will also feature a session with speakers, including Alistair J.K Shepard - Acting Head of Department of International Politics at Aberystwyth University.
